About the

Øredev Extended conference

The purpose of the conference
Øredev Extended is a spin-off of Øredev, Sweden´s largest development conference.

We saw an opportunity to extend the Øredev conference, to also reach out to decision makers within information management. Øredev Extended will be a forum for highlighting coming trends and present case studies, with the aim to disseminate knowledge about management, strengthen the decision makers´ performance and help in building business. We are also convinced that the synergy between the two parallel conferences will be beneficial. At the parallel conferences developers and decision makers can meet to gain new experience and knowledge about the same subjects, but from different angles.

The program
Øredev Extended will start with a keynote speech, which is followed by three consecutive seminars at two tracks; Future & Trends and Case Studies.

At the Future & Trends track you will hear about coming trends within IS/IT Management and what dignities within the field are predicting will be important regarding IS/IT Management in the future.

At the Case Studies track, business professionals will share their experience of project implementations. You will hear about what they did, how they did it and whether it worked or not, i.e. you will get examples of success stories as well as less successful ones.

After the seminars there will be round-table discussions, which will give you the opportunity to deepen yourself into the subject that interested you the most during the morning. The discussions will give you the chance to put all your questions, share your experience and hear about others experience, in a small group under relaxed circumstances. The day then continues with two more seminars at each track.

The exhibition
Alongside the conferences, the exhibition will offer quality networking and marketing opportunities for participants and vendors. It is an ideal occasion to get information from suppliers on trends, technologies, and solutions.
