The Øredev conference, courses and tutorials will be held at Malmö Mässan, Exhibition & Conference Center, situated in Malmö Sweden, one station away (Hyllie station) from the Copenhagen airport.

No, you cannot and we use the Copenhagen Airport which is served by more than 60 carriers, operating services to and from 125 cities world-wide. The airport is connected to Malmö by the Øresund Bridge and trains run around the clock between the airport and Malmö Central Station. Take the train at the airport and 11 minutes later you will find yourself in the heart of Malmö-Hyllie, and a 3 minutes walk from the venue.
Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants/speakers violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
You will be served a light breakfast in the mornings, lunch every day, and dinners on Tuesday 20th of November (with vegan and vegetarian options). Our food is mostly dairy and gluten free. And if not, you will find a suitable alternative. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruits are available all day and sweets in the afternoon. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
You will find free and secure storage facilities at the entrance of the conference hall. Here you can store common items, such as overcoats, backpacks or suitcases. The luggage storage facility does not store money and cannot be held responsible for more valuable items.
In addition, arrangements include the possibility of bringing helpers to the conference, please contact us. If you need to use the hearing loop system. Just let us know if you need to use it and we will let you know how to use it!
There is plenty of paid parking all around the conference hall. The parking is easily paid with coins or credit card check the map (click on the map link in the main menu) and read more about the parking facilities.
Some tutorials and courses require the use of a laptop, we will inform you about what you should bring. During the conference, we will provide you paper and pen to take notes and enough food and coffee to survive.
The official language of the conference is English.
The luggage storage and info booth facility offers the possibility to recharge your mobile phone. Bring your charger!
There is Wi-Fi available throughout the venue, although speed is dependent according to the number of users. If your carrier is local to the region, it will result in faster connection for everyone if you access the www via 4G.
Øredev accepts no liability for any injuries/losses incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor loss or damage to any luggage and/or personal belongings. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden.
Participants who require an invitation -in order to get a visa- will receive it after payment of the conference fee.

Malmö is the hub of the Skåne region, Sweden’s third largest city and the commercial centre of southern Sweden. Approximately 318.107 people live in Malmö at the centre of the new Øresund Region with around 3.5 million inhabitants.
The Danish capital Copenhagen is less than half an hour away and connected to Malmö by a convenient bridge which opened in 2000.

The electrical current in Sweden is 220V/50 Hz. Round, european style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate in 110/120 V need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.
On weekdays, shops are generally open between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm, on Saturdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Some department stores stay open until 8.00 pm daily.
Choose a 1, 2, 3 or 4 Day Pass and choose which day(s) you will attend when you register. The courses seats are limited so you have to choose them when you register.

All prices are in Swedish Crown (SEK) excl. VAT. If you don't choose to pay by credit card, we will invoice your company/organization after your registration. Our payment terms are 15 days from the invoice date.
Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable. In case there is not a sufficient number of registrations for a particular workshop, we reserve the right to cancel it one week prior to the conference. If a workshop is cancelled registered attendees will be contacted directly and they can register for another training or get a refund.
According to regulations, from January 1, 2010 we must charge Swedish VAT (25%).
For a refund of the VAT charge, companies from countries within EU should contact their country's tax agency for assistance. For companies from countries outside the EU - You need to enter an application form and apply for your VAT refund with the Swedish Tax Agency (in Swedish: "Skattverket"). Late registration price: Regular price + 1000 SEK from Monday 1st of November.
The conference pass includes free access to all sessions and the exhibition area (and/or specified workshops) on the days you specify. The pass also includes documentation, coffee and lunch every day, as well as dinners on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th of November (with vegan and vegetarian options).
The conference pass + hotel include 3 nights in an hotel close to the venue with check-in Tuesday the 7th and check-out Friday the 10th of November. We will let you know which hotel we booked for you before the conference starts (the two main hotels are: The Comfort Hotel, The Moment Hotel and we book in other hotels depending on your needs).
If you bought a ticket including Hotel, you will stay or at the Comfort Hotel, Moment Hotel, Garden Hotel.
If you come from Copenhagen, Øredev offers you bus transportation during the conference (not the workshops).
