In this talk we’ll look at the myriad options for storing data in Microsoft Azure, both first-party and third-party, and how a real application will likely use a mixture of data stores to achieve performance, scalability and cost-effectiveness.

Windows Azure SQL Database (Web, Business & Premium)
SQL Server VMs
Caching options
3rd-party options such as MongoHQ and ClearDB MySQL
