Dr. Krysta Svore co-founded and manages the Quantum Architectures and Computation Group (QuArC) at Microsoft Research. She has deep expertise in machine learning and quantum computing, one of the hottest fields in science today. Dr. Svore received her Ph.D. in Computer Science with highest distinction from Columbia University in 2006. She received the ACM Best of 2013 Notable Article award and won the Yahoo! Learning to Rank Challenge in 2010. She is a member of NCWIT, the APS, and the ACM.
