Adam Bien
Consultant and author Adam Bien is an Expert Group member for the Java EE 6 and 7, EJB 3.X, JAX-RS, and JPA 2.X JSRs. He has worked with Java technology since JDK 1.0 and with Servlets/EJB 1.0 and is now an architect and developer for Java SE and Java EE projects. He has edited several books about JavaFX, J2EE, and Java EE, and he is the author of Real World Java EE Patterns—Rethinking Best Practices and Real World Java EE Night Hacks—Dissecting the Business Tier. Adam Goucher
Adam has been working at start-ups for two decades. First as a tester, then as a consultant, and now in management. He is however most known for his browser automation work with the Selenium project. It was though this that he had the epiphany that full scale browser automation requires full scale infrastructure automation leading him to be an early adopter of what is now known as 'devops' and 'the cloud'. Oh, and he co-edited 'Beautiful Testing', published by O'Reilly.

A distributed systems practitioner and machine learning enthusiast, Ali currently is a solution architect building web-scale solutions that handle more load than StackOverflow. A performance and scalability junkie, he loves HTTP, API design and business-modelling DDD-style. He is an author, blogger and OSS contributor and enjoys Natural Language Processing on Big Data and has published a couple papers in the field of Machine Vision. An interesting fact about him is that he started his career as a Medical Doctor and gave that up for the love of coding.
Allan Kelly

Usually this goes by the name of Agile or Lean and increasingly Continuous, but ultimately its about making work practices and processes better. Ancilla van de Leest is a public speaker, author and TV-personality. Since 2012 Ancilla gives, when requested, her raw opinion about subjects like digital rights, privacy and civil rights. She is fully commited to multiple initiatives surrounding these subjects. In 2016 she became the front runner for the Piratenpartij, a political party that defends the freedom and privacy on the internet. Dr. Andrea Arcuri received his PhD in software testing from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 2009. He then worked as research scientist in software testing at Simula Research Laboratory, Norway. Afterwards, for few years he had been a senior software engineer at Schlumberger, an oil&gasservice company. Christian Heilmann
Chris Heilmann has dedicated a lot of his time making the web better. Originally coming from a radio journalism background, he built his first web site from scratch around 1997 and spent the following years working on lots of large, international web sites. He then spent a few years in Yahoo building products and explaining and training people including Yahoo Answers, Search, Local and Maps. He then worked at Mozilla moving HTML5 support forward and advocating Firefox OS as an open alternative to closed mobile systems. Chris wrote two and contributed to eight books on web development and wrote many articles and hundreds of blog posts for Ajaxian, Smashing Magazine, Yahoo, Mozilla, ScriptJunkie and many more. John Hughes
John Hughes has been a functional programming enthusiast for more than thirty years, at the Universities of Oxford, Glasgow, and since 1992 Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden. He served on the Haskell design committee, co-chairing the committee for Haskell 98, and is the author of more than 75 papers, including "Why Functional Programming Matters", one of the classics of the area. With Koen Claessen, he created QuickCheck, the most popular testing tool among Haskell programmers, and in 2006 he founded Quviq to commercialise the technology using Erlang.
