José is a software developer who loves working on any piece of the stack, from data analysis to building frontend tools and having opinions on UX. When not making nice stuff at Bownty, he likes contributing to open source projects like CakePHP, a framework that he has guided through a couple modernisation rewrites already. José has always had a strong interest in functional programming and currently has Elm as his favourite tool for fun and profit. He has also extensive experience with mindfulness, emotion handling and problem solving approaches, and has led multiple workshops on the topic in Latin America and Europe.
