The Agile Manifesto was written almost 12 years ago by a group of luminaries in a ski lodge in Utah. Of course, there were several events -- a veritable movement -- that led up to that point of time. Over the last decade and more, Agile has been used as a force, a farce, a methodology, a buzz-word, an excuse and a lot more.
In this conversation, I'll describe my personal and professional experiences offering Agile training in Africa, North America and Asia. I'll describe what I found to be universal, and what I found to be parochial (and it isn't always obvious). Finally, I'll describe recommendations on what to adopt and what to adapt.
